Snagging is the final stage of the inspection process. The developer informs you they are ready to hand over the keys. Except, glass is scratched, the taps are loose, or the window leaks. A snagging list is a very comprehensive check of all the finishes and fixtures of a new home. Once snagged the builders can come in and rectify before final handover.
